DESCRIPTION AKA Vibrant Sulpher. Bright yellow hindwings and sizzling hot orange forewing colours. This is a large handsome butterfly from the family Pieridae the genus of Hebomoia which only has two species leucippe and glaucippe. Often found feeding on the nectar of the Lantana bush.
Phoebis philea - AKA Orange - Barred Sulphur. Bright yellow with touch of deep golden red in this cheery looking butterfly. Feeding on nectar from a variety of plants this swift flying butterfly from the family Pieridae is also found as far north as Florida in the USA.
